I am lucky in that I have seen every planet in the solar system. I have, however, only managed to capture 6 of them on “film”. These images are not that good compared to some out there, but they are mine and I am proud that they are mine.
Mercury is a small rocky planet, because of it’s proximity to the Sun it’s never visible that long before or after the Sun. This makes seeing it hard (only about 5% of the Worlds population have seen Mercury) and even harder to get an image of it. Here’s mine – but only if you promise not to laugh 🙂
Personally I really dislike Mars. It’s bloody small even at it’s best, surface features are difficult to see and even the polar ice cap isn’t exactly awe inspiring. But for me this image is passable – others have much more luck – maybe I just don’t have the patience.
