Always nice to get outside, but unusual to be out in a T shirt at 1am at the end of September….
Lovely warm day, clear skies at night means only one thing – mist and fog.
Made a bit of a blunder tonight, meant to capture the bubble in Ha, famed to include the scorpion, but forgot to change the filter so I’ve got 3hr 30m of 10 minute subs (21 used, 3 trashed) in standard mono – only had the IR/UV cut filter.
It’s OK, had a few guiding issues which may have been a snagged wire, I’m not sure. I’ll look at that tomorrow. The cameras are still attached to the scope so will do flats and bias frames before it gets dark tomorrow.
